Word on the street has it that the Walmart planned for Main Street is going to be named "The Bar Harbor Country Store." I'm guessing if they change their mind and just put up a sign saying "Walmart" there won't be a problem with the Code Enforcement Officer because, "the commercial name on the building has nothing to do with its permitted use?"

Isn’t a part of the reason a community pays a Code Enforcement Officer, to keep the community free of slimy deceptive business practices? Would seem like it’s important to be clear about where she stands on the deception and communicate what the community could do about it?? But oh well, seems like we live in a sewer nowadays, might as well just jump on in there with them I suppose 🤷🏻♀️
